The Claypool Lennon Delirium- Lime and Limpid Green

This week on Drunk History, we’re going to talk about “Lime And Limpid Green” from the Claypool Lennon Delirium!

First off – the vinyl is a deep green 10″, Record Day Exclusive, limited edition piece.

This record is an example of why i love Record Store Day… this disc has four, completely new recordings of COVER SONGS!!!
They are:
Astronomy Domine By Pink Floyd
Boris The Spider by The Who
The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson
Satori by Flower Travelin Band.
These days -most RSD exclusives these days are either live recordings or re-pressings, but this record delivers brand new music that is not available anywhere else. Now,that’s whats up!
The Claypool Lennon Delirium had been playing both the Floyd & Crimson covers steadily in the live set. It’s awesome to see them find a proper home on this crisp recording.
The band, which is led by Les Claypool (Primus) and Sean Lennon (son of John) is incredible live and a must see for fans of alternative jam rock. I’ve only seen them sober, but a friend of mine once saw them high as fuck and loved it too.
In the words of Matt Stern, this is an album that will be loved until the end of time, or at least until dogs rule the earth with an iron paw.
